TMC has provided an update on its participation in Schneider Electric's Zero Carbon Project, emphasizing the 2023 data collected from its headquarters and manufacturing site in Busto Arsizio, Italy.

The 2023 analysis, adhering to the same methodology as before, evaluated consumption, calculated CO2 emissions in tons, and compared these results with TMC's revenue.

The emissions were assessed across three scopes:

  • Scope 1: Direct emissions from fossil fuel combustion within the facility and vehicle usage, along with refrigerant gas leaks.
  • Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the purchase of electricity and heating/cooling.
  • Scope 3: Indirect emissions from the procurement of goods and services.

After examining the previously mentioned points, we discovered that our carbon footprint intensity per unit of sales decreased by 74% between 2019 and 2023.

This reduction represents a significant achievement for TMC, and we take pride in our efforts.

We remain dedicated to further reducing our carbon footprint by embracing sustainable practices and implementing responsible decision-making processes.
