Liquid cooling technology carries great advantages over traditional methods that only rely on air flows.
First, the heat is removed from the system much more efficiently, yielding custom transformers that are more durable, reliable, and particularly compact with the same performance.
TMC basically offers three types of cooling:
Direct
An internal circuit of deionized or industrial water that flows through the conductor itself.

Indirect
Heat sinks suitably integrated within the windings or core.

AFWF
An air-water exchanger cools the transformer with the flow of air and removes the heat produced with forced water recirculation—the cooling circuit is completely isolated.
