At TMC, we produce medium-voltage VPI distribution transformers and special transformers with powers up to 25MVA and voltages up to class 34.5 (up to 200kV BIL). These products must typically have 220 thermal class.

The insulation consists of aramid materials applied with double VPI cycles which perform well at elevated operating temperatures and in extreme thermal overloads.

The ability to withstand short-circuit forces is verified with FEA software.
